MAI National Workshop on: ‘Conservation of Fresco and Lime Work’ - January, 2025

In the 10-day national workshop organized under the aegis of Museums Association of India in the temple (Shri Rangnath Venugopal), 7 trainee students of Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management are renovating the wall and line paintings of the temple under the guidance of four experts from Delhi, Ahmedabad and Patna. Trustee of the temple Anantprasad Ganediwal told that in the workshop organized from 3 to 13 January in the temple, 4 experts including Sanjeev Kumar Singh of Patna-based museum, Saroj Pandey of Delhi are giving technical training of conservation of heritage buildings to 7 students of Delhi Institute of Heritage Management. Under the guidance of experts, all the students are restoring the wall and line paintings of the temple to their original form. Along with this, some renovation and cleaning work is also being done. He told that interested young men and women of Pushkar area can also participate and get training in conservation of heritage property.
